Ever Got A Deal From A Pissed Off Ex-Wife?

I was just looking through a buy and sell magazine and found an ad for a motorcycle for sale. The individual who was selling this bike was a very pissed off ex-wife. The bike was brand new and worth probably $14,000 CAD. She was selling it for $1500 O.B.O. and she also said that this was not a misprint. That she just wanted to get rid of it! LOL!

Any of you guys ever have this happen to you with an ex-wife or girlfriend? I think I would string the bitch up if she tried selling a very valuable item of mine for peanuts just to piss me off. Has anyone ever grabbed a deal like that up?

DH

P.S. I already contacted her and offered her the asking price, just waiting to hear back :winkwink:

My ex used to take a lot of pictures of. Really sexy and kinky stuff.
She promised she was going to keep them just for herself.
After a really bad break-up, she was so pissed that she decided to post them on her internet website and sell them to other people. At first, i was so mad! but then i started to like the attention i was getting from the surfers (and she was making some really good money), so i decided to open up a site on my own! im a star now!

She couldn't sell it unless the title was in her name. That would make it hers, not his.

Actually...no... I got what was mine, he got what was his (and then some of what was mine too). Just stating a fact that she couldn't legally sell the bike if her name wasn't the only name on the title. If it was in her ex-husband's name or in both their names, she couldn't sell it without his signature.

GTS Mark 04-29-2003 03:01 AM

Well if this lady contacts me and agrees to sell it, the first thing I am going to do is get a lien search and make sure she has the legal right to sell it.

DH

PersianKitty 04-29-2003 03:03 AM

All you'd need to do is see the registration and the title. The registration would show if there's a lienholder on it. Both would show if it's here's outright.

What a bitch - she'd be learning the true meaning of sexual equality if that was my ex :feels-hot

Herb Kornfield 04-29-2003 05:53 AM

here is an interesting one.

If the bike is brand new, there is a chance that it is financed.

To sell a bike for $1500 that has a loan on it is $14,000 isnt going to cover the amount owed to the finance company. These finance companies dont take being not paid very well.

DH, You may find yourself having the bike repossessd from you since the babe wil probably tell the finance / repro crew that she sold the bike and they can go get it, not her problem. Here is where the guy I sold it to lives

She has your cash, you have her headache and then the man to deal with. She already threw him out to the curb, what makes you any different?

That'd suck to loose a bike and your potentail investment.

be smart
buy that bike for $1500 and sell it for $5k or even $10k
and make yourself some fast cash

Can't say that I'd ever be that mean not even to a x hubby. Does it help matters? nope just causes more problems in the long run.

:winkwink:

One of my fathers friends had something like that happen to him.

Cept it was no bike, back in 1995 he saw an ad in the paper for a 95 Dark Green Jaguar, tan leather interior, all the fixings for $500.... He thought it was a misprint and they missed two zeros, but when it went through the newspaper for 2 weeks before he decided to call.

Turns out the lady just caught her husband cheating on her and she wanted to fuck w/ his head :)

Bitch

Actually there was a thing on Judge Judy a while ago. They had to sell their Harley in the divorce. She sold it for 10 bucks to some guy..

It was still financed also, in his name..

He sued her for the difference and lost. It didn't say anywhere that she had to sell it for fair market value.

The title was cleared after a while and the owner held liable for the difference (around 5k)

Thats how the wife got him back, he had to pay for a bike which he couldn't use

I had an ex that went on a crack binge when he should have paid half of his bills...so i drove 300 miles to wake him up in his crack hotel with a blow to the head (blunt object used)..took his rolex and 9 mm (the only thing this once wealthy man had left) and pawned both. told him if he ever got off the crack and saved his money again he could get them back....of course crack was more improtant..dumbass....he was then left with nothing but the clothes i put in storage for him...loser!

Peaches 04-29-2003 07:55 AM

I sold my all ex-husband's stuff for pennies on the dollar at a garage sale. What made it even funnier was that a guy that worked for him came and bought some stuff. :1orglaugh

Pissing women off is never a good idea. :thumbsup

Yeah, I know a few girls who had that happen. I work with a handful. :1orglaugh

RockDaddy 04-29-2003 01:06 PM

My ex sold my motorcycle somehow and the title was not in her name. I never filed a quit claim deed on the house she's been living in and paying on for the last 8 yrs, after it's paid off I'm going to force a sale. I'm patient! Revenge will me mine.

btw - she also sold two of my cars, my boat, all of my tools, my big screen tv, my stereo system, and the list goes on!

dantheman 04-29-2003 01:09 PM

my first wife sold all of my fishing stuff over 4k worth of rods, reels, tackle, bags, dethfinders all of it for 200 bucks, and the part that REALLY pissed me off was a good(was)friend bought it from her :BangBang:

MattO 04-29-2003 01:16 PM

You could use the same story as a website promotion:

"My ex husband is an asshole, I won all his porn in the divorce and now I'm giving you access to all of it for only a buck!
I've even got pictures of the slut he fucked around with too, that whore's only worth a buck, fucking bitch!"

Use the idea, gimme % hehh

Buy the bike.
Fuck her - Cos she is most probably quite receptable now -
Sell the bike for a quick profit.
And be happy!:glugglug
