Ledger nano S and ripple
So I got the ledger nano s to hold ripple coins. Can't say the piece of gear is particularly very user friendly but been reading around and still trying to setup ripple.
I'm failing miserably, not cause of my tech skills or lack of ability to read a guide, something else is blocking the way ripple wallet functions on my system. By the way ledger support is none existent. Anyone got ripple to work with ledger and run windows 10 ? I'm also considering other options, until today none of them looks secure enough to hold ripple coins for a few months. Where are you holding your ripple? |
Bump
Should have mentioned Trump in title for extra coverage... :/ |
Since it uses Chrome, the only thing I can think of is Adblock. I don't have experience with it however, so bump for you.

Thanks for the effort :)
Apparently there's an issue on ledger side due to windows update, awesome right. Tried self hacking the app today but had to pause cause of new problems not mentioned in ledgers guide. The only option now is waiting for ledger patch. |
I have been using https://www.exodus.io/eden/

You're absolutely right though, the Nano UI takes some getting used to. (Be sure you're using the "Ledger Manager" to update the Ripple App) |
I have a nano S and I have my Ripples on it.
First, you need to download ledger manager here https://www.ledgerwallet.com/apps/manager Then install ripple on it. When it's done, download ripple wallet here https://www.ledgerwallet.com/apps/ripple and voilą :) |
