I don't smoke pot, never did, never will. However, I fail to understand why it's illegal. Make it legal, release all of the people in prison with related crimes, and then tax it. It's no different than booze.

Yes I know, Jeff Sessions is an idiot. Or, he's just following federal law. It's Trump's 1st year and they no doubt have discovered the corporate plot to keep pot illegal, the same plot that can be traced back to George HW Bush and his pals the Rockefellers in the 1930s.

I believe they will eventually dismantle the federal prohibition and let each state decide at the state or county level.

I don't know where to stand on the issue really. On one hand I agree that I don't see why it's illegal. On the other hand legalising it will allow it to be taxed heavily, driving up prices, unless the user grows it themselves.

It's actually a lot less harmful than booze. & I'm not saying that from a pothead perspective (I don't smoke it) but from a factual one.

Prices have gone down from $300 to $100 an ounce in Colorado.
