higher monthly price with an affiliate program or a lower monthly price without? (ex $25 vs $15)

Trying to weigh the odds here...if you have a lower price people are more likely to continue rebilling and possibly more likely to purchase in the first place. On the other hand, if you have an affiliate program you will have more promotion but will it offset the losses from having the higher price?

Do you have your own source of traffic?

I would be doing lots of traffic whether or not I had affiliates. What I am wondering though is if the surfers that are scared away by the higher price would be made up for by extra sales due to extra promotion from the affiliates. What do you think?

As a consumer, $24.95 is appealing to me. Anything less gives me a "cheap" impression. Anything more is pushing my limits.
