CCBill Financial Troubles?
G'day guys,
CCBill owes me weeks of payments and my rep has told me for the last 2 weeks that the money is on its way. I've never had this trouble with them but it feels a lot like Globill. Dave |
They are one of the mainstays of the Industry, I doubt, they would financial probs :2 cents:

Cant tell about financial problems, but something is strange happening there - i got spam e-mail from Steve how i should "use" ccbill, which is silly since - it is pretty obvious how i am affiliate , not a paysite owner / content producer. Second, i actually met with Steve once on show and we talked about affiliate stuff so i guess how he forgot totaly about that meeting or he didnt associated my e-mail with me. Plus sending spam is a strange thing for a established company as ccbill. Plus, in that spam e-mail was mentioned my name as well, which is not listed anywhere publicly, so it made wonder did they bought industry e-mail list with names somewhere.

The CCBill scrub has been on overdrive the last few days, that's all I know. :(

I would bet that CCBill is just fine. It's a huge company, a rock in the industry. In Steve's defense, I would throw myself under the bus and say that after 18 years I sometimes struggle with names, faces, nicknames, proper company names... I have met some 5 or 10 thousand people and sometimes I worry that I'm getting more forgetful and worse at it as I get older. It's really embarrassing sometimes, especially because I do care and I try hard to be better at this. Truth is, I've always struggled with names since I was younger.
I wish you luck with having your problem resolved. Most likely it's just stuck somewhere in an inefficient corporate process. Happy holidays, Brad |
I have 2 missing payments over the last 24 months that no matter how many times I put in support tickets I can't get. I wouldn't draw the conclusion that they are having financial issues because if they are they wouldn't be in business 2 years later. I think it's just as a company gets too big it's tough to get qualified people and get them trained properly.

hit up adminsupport at ccbill with your info.. or escalate at ccbill com

Are you getting payments by check? What's the reason they've given why you haven't received the payments? Have you moved or switched banks? Have you change the type of payment method? You've left a lot of important facts out of your post lol |
As a pay site operator, I'm still getting paid EVERY single week ...just as I always have been paid EVERY single week for 13 years now.
Never missed ONE SINGLE PAYMENT on ANY given week either. I HIGHLY doubt they are having financial issues. |

Seriously asking if CCBill has financial troubles just shows how little knowledge you have. |
Boy, oh boy
|
All payments have arrived on time everytime for as long as I can remember. No issues there.
Support reply-back times for merchants have been a bit slower though recently. |

Have you been receiving more decline emails? If so, what are the reasons for them? 'Do not honor' declines and the like are totally out of the billing processor's hands. |

Same traffic, less sales. It's a complicated Al Gore rhythm. |

If you're not getting them, then there's probably no signup attempt to begin with. Sometimes the fish don't bite; Analytics can be sound and your sites are running smoothly, yet there are times when people just won't sign up and you may not be able to pinpoint it on anything. I bet it happens to everyone every so often. If it happens for a day or two, don't sweat it. |

(it would be the same money at the end) The whole scrup theory makes just sense if the sell the saved cb percentages under the table to make some extra money. Or donate the scrubed percentages to some big player to keep them onboard. Best Regards |
I've only made one CCBill sale in the last few months ever since every recurring sale I had chargedback at the same time ... very strange. CCBill has gone from easily being my biggest cheque every month to something I have pretty much given up on - It seems impossible to make a sale on nowadays.

Scrub two weeks sales before holidays (and lost the sales) to blow it away until holidays. (to get the sales back) ? At the end they have just 1 or 2 percent cb ratio to distribte. No mather if they do it now or in two weeks. |

The idea is to reduce the scrub when two or three times as many sales are being attempted during the holidays, that way you end up with lots more sales overall

Or not? |

If they are making sooo much money as some claim why is their system still stuck in the Eighties?
Just now: Unable to transfer report spec (Do failed, no $dbh object in /var/securewww/virtual/affiliates/reports/checkAmounts.cgi at line 47) |

I almost stopped promoting CCBill programs lately. |

People complain every year here never changes. More denials because CC are maxed out More failed rebills because CC are maxed out. Never changes but every year someone cooks up the end of a biller, including affiliates the biller has banned in the past for fraud :1orglaugh In January a thread will be started about the record number of chargebacks like never seen before in the history of adult :1orglaugh |

In the last year I have been increasing my volume with CCBill, and things seem great. Sales are increasing, rebills are really increasing, and duh... my checks are increasing. I do not think there is an issue with sales, or scrub, etc. At least I do not have any evidence of that.
They just did a huge maintenance on Dec. 12, and I am thinking that a lot of these admin problems are due to that. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt... for now. I agree with some of you though... this admin is getting tiresome. If I was Ron, I would make some heads roll and get this shit fixed asap... I mean, I am a one man show here and I rewrote my entire backend system in three weeks, with no coder help. CCBill could do this as well, especially since they have a development team. |
