As someone who is also an adrenaline junkie (motocross, enduro), I don't even know what to say. Some safety measures would have been necessary, obviously. It's one thing to do extreme sports, but you can be cautious even with that. Make sure you know your muscle strength and what you can do before attempting something like this.

He should have picked a sport with a wider margin of error.

the cool thing about your adrenaline sport of choice is that there are actual safety precautions and its not unnecessarily deadly heh

It looks like he gave two solid pull-ups and then couldn't pull himself back up again. He could have pulled something in his arm or got an arm cramp.

I read this morning he hit a balcony. I wondered why he wasn?t attached but kept checking the lines. Why dangle off a building without a harness? Why allow him to to that without precautions? Did the Chinese allow him to jump or was he sneaking? He was barely in his 20?s I think.
