Please explain the underworkings of each coin. Judging by the graphs of BTC, ETH, and LTC only... I would say ETH solely because I think it will be the next to break out of this consolidation range it's been within.

2. Monero, privacy, which seems like will be a huge thing in the near future
3. Litecoin, quicker and good for smaller transactions

every other coin mentioned in this thread cannot compare, much less devs, and less potential imo.

if you holding ETH in myetherwallet you can check your free tokens in "token balances"

rogue, lookup
BCH - for 1 BTC we hold, we got 1 free BCH (now worth $1300'ish per 1)
BCD - for 1 BTC we hold, we got 10 of these, (was $90, now worth $35ish)
BTG - for 1 BTC we hold, we got 1 of these, (was worth $300 - 500ish)

etc etc

depends on the exchange, if they are supportive of the forked coin or not, if yes, then they'll automatically credit your account

if you have on cold storage, trezor/ledger, they'll usually post blog instructions how you can get yours

if you hold on non supportive exchange, you'd maybe not get anything

anytime fork happening, and you wanty our coins, have to research and act accordingly, (move to supportive exchange, or cold wallet, etc) all risky and sometimes not worth it

A fork is like a clone of an existing coin that does something different, usually because a group of users are not happy with the development/marketing etc direction a coin is taking.

I am learning that there isn't a catch all exchange. You have to research and do it that way.
Like, I was looking at DENT based on the suggestion above but you can't get it on any exchange I currently use, only hitbtc. I presume as it grows in popularity it will be added to additional exchanges.
