iphone which one should I get?

iphone X or iphone 8 ?

iphone 8 plus felt so bulky, not sure about it.

I'm on 5 now and feel like upgrading, what you think?

Sly 11-28-2017 04:24 PM

I have 7 Plus. Seeing no real reason to upgrade to 8 or X. Regarding the larger sizes, you quickly get used to it and the smaller phones will drive you crazy.

Samsung S8

Is that an Iphone?

The only reason i'm updating to X is because my screen broke last year.

Beware, the iPhone X is fragile like an egg...

I went from the 7+ 256GB Jet Black to the X 256GB in Silver. Ignored the 8 launch as knew I wanted the X so ordered it online at 2 a.m. to get it on release day.

Smaller so easier to manage than the 7+
Appears faster
Face ID working flawless, can be used for unlock, bank login, apple pay, itunes store etc... as well.
Mophie wireless charger working fine
Animoji worthless but fun, I've sent a few talking poos.
Better camera
etc...

bought these 2 cases...

No - we are discussing phones in this thread that allow people to be truly productive without having to jump though hoops. ;-)

Either the 8 or X depending on your budget If you spend a lot of time on it working and not just texting her making calls and I would certainly suggest the 8s or X

Get an iPhone 7. They are much cheaper, really fast and work really well. There's not much difference between the 7, 8 and X when it comes to functionality. The camera in the 7 is excellent, the apps run nice and smooth, and of course the display quality is great.

I bought my iPhone 7 last year and have no problems with it at all. I went to see the new 8's and X's and while they are nice phones, they cost too much to justify an upgrade to me.

If I had no phone and was going to buy a new one today, I'd buy a 7.

Should have mentioned that you're looking for an advice for people with disabilities.

Hey, thanks for all suggestions. Here's what I'm paying for the different models...

Prices in euro and paid over 24 months in total, just extending my plan.

iphone x ?960
iphone 8 plus ?756
iphone 8 ?648
iphone 7 plus ?672
iphone 7 ?528

Considering how small of a jump from 7 to 8 price-wise and the fact I'm on 5 I shouldn't pick anything below the last generation. At least according to apple new features also include.

processor
upgraded camera
longer lasting battery

Getting an iphone 8 will be a huge upgrade no matter what. Sucks I have to wait 6-7 weeks for an X though if I pick that one. A new iphone x without plan costs about ?1149.

When I look at my iphone 5 and then see how big the 8 plus is, I'm imagining I'm gonna carry around a brick of stone. :1orglaugh

Cases looks nice, I personally use screen protector and a case from day one. Easy to sell the day you get new one and relatively high 2nd hand price as long as it looks well taken care of.
