Man plans to launch himself in a homemade rocket Sat

And apparently it's not his first time
This Man Is Launching Himself in a Homemade Rocket to Prove Earth Is Flat

LOL What an idiot! (Same goes for the people helping him).

If he really is that stupid and needs to prove to find out for himself that the earth is round, he could just strap a go-pro to a helium-filled balloon while it records the whole trip.

There is a movie called The Astronaut Farmer with Billy Bob Thornton. It's on Netflix. It's basically the same story - former NASA guy misses his change to go to outer space and builds his own rocket on his farm in Texas. He launches it, gets two feet off the ground and nearly dies. On his second attempt he circles the earth nine times.

Cute movie.

At least he has taken it upon himself to see for himself instead of just complaining on websites. It might be interesting to see though. If he is successful and finds out he's wrong I wonder what he'll say.

I hope he makes it all the way to North Korea...

you mean like booking an airplane ticket and looking out the window? all doubts should go away after that and no worries over ghetto rockets designed by morons who think the world is flat.

What is he going to accomplish? He thinks the world is flat.

What could he possible accomplish that could be interesting?

The only thing interesting about this is being amazed at just how stupid people can be.

I mean, I've heard of the whole flat Earth thing, but a man made rocket? And just for the record, I don't believe any of that flat Earth shit in the first place. But yeah, there are a lot of idiots out there folks.
