My site and it's revenue troubles
 

Hi everyone, i just joined here and was hoping someone could help me out with a question that I have.

One year ago, I started out with a website for adult/porn.

It's called "thumbgenie" and it's at www.thumbgenie.com

I post links to galleries, in other words, it's a TGP website. The trouble I am struggling with is to try to get some good revenue. It's very hard, because I seem to have only freeloaders on my website.

I now have about 13K a day, and it seems to be growing, but hence, maybe i still make 100 bucks a month when i ever get to 130K a day :-(

Hope someone can give me some suggestions.

this is why most are going with paid listings, but at 13K per day, you don't really have enough traffic to go to paid listings yet....

how much traffic a day would be required for payed listings ?

one thing you can try is to put just hosted galleries on your site. make every one of the hits to your site count as possible revenue for you. start by picking up some of my galleries in my sig. :thumbsup

the ftv site looks nice. does it convert well ?

Whare are the sponserbanners ? I really dont se that many

are those from trades?

Looking at your site... no wonder you make no money. How would you make money from it? You have no ads!

Do some surfing, check out other TGP's, take notes on their sites and start experimenting with yours. Add more ads, add better ads, etc.

You're not going to make money with your site the way it is. Try some changes!

Your site isn't making money because its not laid out to.
You have a "come and get it all for free" design on there.

I'll never understand the logic of sites like that.
Are you in business to make money or hand out free porn all day?

Its amazing how many folks cater to the freeloaders.

Invite your submitters to put some PayAsYouClick galleries up. Part free, part paid, with a 10% traffic payment.
Then as TGP owner you will get paid for your traffic based on the money spent at each gallery.
You'll also get surfer AND webmaster referral payments.

Of course I'll agree with Lightspeed and what he said above. We do well with TGP traffic.

All I see when I hit your site is FTV girls....... While FTV Girls is a good site, it seems your only pushing them. Try adding a dozen more sponors on your main page.
