Quite a few, but they are all pretty much running on auto pilot on HostedTube these days...

Certainly not great money, but its money for nothing and it more than covers renewal fees...

very interesting ! how is such tube monetized ? by popups or pps sales ? you can choose what you may advertise there ? or they just pay you for traffic ?

I just pointed the domains at them, and walked away. Sure you can set up special codes and add links and stuff, but I have not. They show ads to the surfers and I get paid per view. As for what ads exactly, I dont have a clue. I never visit my own sites. Just the hosted tube admin to see what Ive earnt :)

How much time and effort do/did you put into promoting them?

600 monetized sites and about... err... 200 non-monetized ones.

Its not me by myself running them though. I have a team of 10 in total, including me.

Truthful answer? Absolutely no time whatsoever. When I say I pointed the names and walked away, thats the absolute literal truth. I have not changed a thing from the default settings nor added links, nor interlinked the tubes themselves. So the answer is zero, nada, zip, zilch...

I'm not claiming great money though. But enough to renew the domains and get a nice little paxum payment every few months

Its NOT gonna cover any major bills or living expenses, but its enough for some extra pocket money and for me to bother renewing the domains once a year :)

Both have ONLY original (but similar) niche content, but will make a 3rd one next year with again similar niche content, but instead of high end "polished" productions this one will have the amateur home feel look. Then no more sites.

I Don't have a clue mate. When I retired in 2013 I simply took the domains I had left and pointed them at hostedtube... I never bought domains especially to use with it.

I'd probably want to do some tube tweaking, promo and interlinking etc if I set one up today with the intention of making money - Fair enough, and I'd advise anyone to do the same...

But it wasn't like that with me. I just put the domains on there with the idea that hopefully they would make enough to cover the $10 renewal fee. If they didnt, I'd simply not renew them. Bottom line is I've renewed them all each year since 2013 and I've had some 'free money' on top of that.

Like I say, I'm only talking small amounts - Nothing to boast about - But it really is money for nothing and ZERO effort from me :)
