This is pretty much everything Putin was trying to avoid. Russia over did their propaganda war and their interference in other countries now they will soon pay the piper with unified Euro armies at their boarders. Trump basically weakened the US's power reach with his non sense and now the Euro's will step up..Trump essentially weakened the US as we will end up with less influence in Europe.. |

This was inevitable, and will be superseded in 15 - 20 years

The EU signed a ?historic? deal to integrate 23 armies to shake off its US dependence https://qz.com/1127984/eu-army-bloc-...us-dependence/ |
>Euro armies at their boarders
It is USA provocation for selling the weapon in EU and overpriced shell gas/oil(for make goods from EU lowest competitive and expensive). For EU such conflict was disaster always. For USA it Profit. |
The EU denied they were planning for an EU Army not so long ago.
|
" Unified" European Force is an oxymoron like none other...:1orglaugh:1orglaugh
Just imagine... Poles helping the Ukrainians Serbs helping the Bosnians Greeks helping the Albanians Czechs to Slovaks Hungarians to Slovaks.....etc etc.. |
I wonder what language they will use?

Great, bring back our troops, reduce military expenses abroad, apply it to defending our own country, further education and better technology.
Our military costs exceed $150bn a year for 800 plus bases in 160 countries overseas, personnel and equipment. Granted, the EU cost isn't all of that number alone, but a large portion. That could provide secondary education for US citizens along with many other important issues facing the country today. It's nice to support the overall mission of "good will and democracy" but at what cost? |

That's because the UK wasn't aginst it, which is no longer a issue. |
The EU is run by a large committee -- how they will present a common defense is to be seen.

This crockett guy's obsession with Trump is unhealthy
|
Sounds like a good move.

Czechs have no problems with Slovaks and vice-versa. Slovakian police officers were helping at Hungarian borders this or last year. |
It's about time US stopped subsidizing NATO, we are close to 75% of NATO budget even though no country in the world has any means of attacking the US, except by maybe sending nuke tipped ICBM our way, which no country is stupid enough to do.
|
If there would have been an EU army already, we would have been in war with Russia now regarding the Ukrain. Baalen, Timmermans, Verhofstadt, and Juncker with an EU army = the new Napoleons that want to go to war.
Giving these EU clowns an army is worse than Trump that could hit the wrong button. Would it be safer if these people control an EU army or would it be more dangerous? |

Who knows..
Perhaps there is a looming threat we are unaware of.. and the USA just wants another USA to step up to the table of accountability. Unification of power is a step towards everyone plugging into the big picture IMHO. Maybe just maybe that big picture is a fact of reality we are completely oblivious too. Time to turn your world view into a universal one fellas. |

The EU's wish is a united states of Europe, with a central government controlling all those totally different people, cultures, economies, etc. They always denied this to us, the people, but do it anyway. That fact alone tells you the EU is a dictatorship without a doubt. No matter what you think of their plan - they keep lying to us simple citizens while ignoring our voice and go on with their own plan. We are the cattle they're trying to divide with the war -> mass immigration vicious cycle. Let the people you bomb come in without limits. The plan to destroy societies and nations, and to build the 4th reich on the ashes. Hail EU! https://jdreport.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/eu1.jpg http://cdns.yournewswire.com/wp-cont...u_swastika.jpg |

Anything that reduces the US military forces deployed overseas, and our expenditure on military, is a good thing. Our funding of NATO has been insanely high for far too long, and should have been cut as soon as Europe recovered from WWII by the 1960s.
Personally, I think that this is just a move from the EU Parliament, (an unelected body comprised mostly of people who were appointed from countries in which they couldn't get themselves voted in...), in order to try to hold on to, and increase, its power over the member states, but that is a problem for the Europeans to try to deal with. Good luck with all that, btw.... :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh . |

btw. Euro Parlament is directly elected by EU citizens :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Parliament |

As to the Czechs and Slovaks Czechs are not too smart they just elected a Slovak ex commie secret police and a thief as their prime minister, they seem to have a collective amnesia |
