high school reunions
I have a ten year high school reunion coming up and really don't want to go.
I have a couple friends emailing me crap about it, but I think its gonna take major convincing to get me there. What the hell would I say to all those people? Does anyone go to those things? Any experiences? :glugglug |

I was thinking about my 10 year reunion the other day when I was visiting my hometown. God damn where did the time fly!

what would they think of me now.
i havent changed much. |
Yeah it really creeps me out.
I have a handful of girlfriends I keep in touch with but they are mostly married with children. And some of them are looking forward to this thing. I want them to tell everyone I am dead. |
Mine's this fall. NOT going, fuck all those snotty uppity bitches and skank hos.:ak47:

why don't you want to go?
I have mine ( althought it's not yet 10 yrs ) tommorow. I want to go, but don't think that I will be in good mood. ( Unless the gallery that I will have listed at The Hun tommorow will earn me some nice sign up's... ). |
I don't recommend going. I went to mine and left feeling very depressed.
3 of my best friends had been killed over the years, most of my high school buddies had grown fat and dumpy, the guys that were voted to most likely succeed had failed, a lot of the guys that got picked on and were geeks had made fortunes in tech and were the most successful (payback :) ), the girls that were scary looking had turned into beauties and the babes had gotten overweight and weren't head turners anymore. It was a surreal experience and I couldn't wait to leave the party. I also felt embarrassed cause everyone had heard threw the grapevine I had done really really well in business, actually the best of anyone in our class, and a bunch of people approached me during the party looking for jobs and making investments with them, which was so damn tacky to me. The only good thing was I got to talk to the girl I had a total crush on in High School but never got to go out with cause she was the class hottie and I was in the Geek crowd, and she gave me her number in NYC, (funny how receptive she was now knowing I had bucks) and after leaving Philly I took an extra few days off to fly up and see her and it turned into a sizzling fun weekend and quite a fuck fest. :Graucho |
even though I was actually in town for my 5 year reunion - pretty amazing since I live on a different continent these days - I still didn't go. Five years wasn't enough time for me to stop hating everyone...not sure 10 is either. They were all idiots and youth wasn't an excuse.
