False Patriotism
 

There is nothing I hate more than false patriotism. I had it when a Congressman (or Congresswoman) slaps a flag pin on their lapel and suddenly they are patriotic. Bullshit.

Donald Trump is making his first trip to Pearl Harbor to visit the USS Arizona Memorial. This is stunning. How can you be so filthy rich and seventy plus years old and claim to be a patriot yet never visited one of the most important war memorial in the United States? Do you honestly mean to tell me that in seventy years he never found the time to visit the USS Arizona, yet calls himself a patriot?

Virtue signaling

Patriotism is about loving your country, wanting to do as much as you can for it etc.
It is not visiting war memorials. Millions of real patriots did not visit it as well.

And you hate nothing more than fake patriotism? I could list 100 things most people woudl agree are worse than fake patriotism, but whatever you say.
