Remember when the national debt was imporant

You know everytine a Democrat is in the White House.... Republicans only care about the national debt when its a Democrat in office they can blame. Their proposed taxplan will increase the national debt by 1.5 trillion dollars, just so they can give billionaires a tax cut.

MEANWHILE... the middle class gets fucked, but hey they can blame liberals and their dumb dumb trailer trash voting block will buy it..

Of course it wont pass anyway because we all know stanch conservatives like Rand Paul will not agree to a tax cut which raises the national debt.. right...

I mean its not like Republicans will put aside all their hard felt core values just to pass something will they....:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Any bill that raises the deficit needs to automatically rejected.

Republicans need this to pass badly and the odds are already against it. Already they are making asses out of themselves. Instead of a "complete over haul of the tax system" they just moved some numbers around, and it's already having issues - and we are going into the holiday season. In the event they do get this passed they will declare a victory even though they've done what every administration before it has done, and if they don't pass it they will have gone an entire year without passing a major bill.

I've said this before - Trump is a business man and doesn't seem to understand how government works. In the business world it's two people who want to do business with each other. Government is completely different - it's two (plus) government parties in two different branches of government (and even his party will not always agree with him), the press, the general public, lobbying groups, and and other groups all with different goals, wants, and needs. This is what makes government so difficult - it's impossible to please everyone and you have to compromise. Trump told us he was a great negotiator but the reality is he cannot negotiate with different groups with vastly different goals, some of which do not want to do anything with the President.

From what little I've read they will keep the 401k in place, but greatly reduced the child care credit - wonderful. Right out of the gate I'm going to be paying more.

I believe you have mispronounced it. Didn't you mean, "I've been winning so much I'm tired of it?"

Barry-xlovecam 11-02-2017 01:28 PM

Ronald Reagan created the debt explosion -- or the oil embargoes and crises did :2 cents;

9/11 was a major turning point -- War -- the Great Recession
Then every government since added to the debt pile.

Mtge interest is still there but capped at 500k. I bet you are ok. Child credit was increased.

slapass 11-02-2017 02:16 PM

Let’s not add to misinformation. He did not touch the hedge fun carry interest like he said he would. AMT is retarded and helps me if they drop it so good riddance. Ouch on state taxes but I got a small break on the percentage so I am about even on this deal.

So much winning....

ruff 11-02-2017 04:32 PM

They haven't passed anything yet. Odds are they never will. They want to put the same plan in that Kansas used the past few years. It will be great and bigly winning!

pimpmaster9000 11-02-2017 04:44 PM

Did I miss the MAGA?

Its the Santa Claus theory this is the playbook the gop uses with their sheep. Spend spend spend while they are in control of office and then cry about spending when they arent and blame democrats.
Remember Dick Cheney deficits don't matter. Imagine if Obama had said that. lol

Paul Markham 11-03-2017 06:23 AM

Americans need to pay 10% more in taxes to keep the debt at its present level.

Remember how Robbie and Vendzilla used to rage about the national debt and now suddenly they dont care about politics anymore. I bet they wont care about politics until its a Democrat co trolled congress or white house..

Sheep like them willfully follow the herd off the cliff..

The Bush tax cuts added $3.5 trillion to the deficit then Republicans spent 8 years blaming Obama for it.

A lot of Republicans were very loud during the election, but have since gone dark. It's amusing really. They either believed fully in Trump or hated Hillary so much they voted for Trump. Yet now that Trump is in office no one wants to really defend him other than a handful of fake nics.

All of my Republican friends have become rather quiet about politics.

If excessive debt is a drag on a nation's currency; the rest of the world is for shit too (or worse); measured by the current strength of the USD.

Last week, on camera, Trump said he "has the best memory". Now suddenly he doesn't remember one of his staffers telling him he wanted to meet with the Russians.

ruff 11-04-2017 10:51 AM

As a nation we are fucking stupid as a sack of rocks so we deserve every lie and load of crap dished up. No whining please, whining is for asshats. Sure things are nice now, economy is booming, but the Republicans are going to put a stop to that real soon. When you live in a sea of floating dumbasses from coast to coast you have to figure that shit in your soup is the new flavor of the day. Be sure and buy some crackers.

It's all fake money, a rigged international fake monetary system where every few years countries take their turn going up while others go down. Digital currency. This is why the cryptocurrency Filecoin it's is such a big hit because it's a digital currency tied to a real-world I said hard disk space, amongst other things.

beerptrol 11-04-2017 01:31 PM

It's the american way. The republicans run up the deficit with ill planned tax cuts....the democrats then have to raise taxes and make cuts to lower said debt while the republicans scream about being fiscally conservative until they are back in charge

The whole field should pay more taxes, corporations, wealth. U.S. should start decreasing national debt. It will bite the U.S. sooner or later and it ain't gonna be pretty.

Big corporations overall in both U.S. and Europe have been under a tax immunity for too long. While the rest needs to work harder, this stings in people's eyes.

I never completely understood filthy rich people's lack of interest in paying taxes generally speaking, paying extra taxes should be obligatory. They can still enjoy life in their yacht in Monaco's harbor eating lobsters and what more.

After logically approaching it there's only one reason for it: GREED

An urge of more wealth more than you can spend. Pretty sick considering how long the corporate world included tax lawyers to plan their taxes, and it's been looked the other way by politicians and law makers. I get why, corporations have power, they can relocate, they can cherry pick where they want to do business and then cities or states lose work positions.

Sick system and both republicans and democrats are to blame.
