He just came out as Gay and they can't have an openly Gay man play his character in America the demographic for that show can't distinguish reality from fantasy.

I'm not so sure (if the show is in fact canceled) that it has much to do with him being gay as it has with him allegedly getting drunk and trying to fuck a 14-year-old.

Agreed. Plus, his character was alluded to as bi-sexual (fling with former college friend, and the secret serviceman). There's little tolerance for any molestation with this #metoo movement in full swing.

But, no big loss. I also agree that the show quality dropped greatly after the first few seasons. This is when Robin Wright demanded equal pay and equal screen time. I lost interest when Claire started bitching all the time and angling for vice-president.
