PHOTO FOG is good also for preventing a very costly ticket. :)

how about just following the law?

Pipecrew 04-25-2003 04:44 PM

i heard that shit's a scam and it doesnt work, I wouldnt mind some if it does, we have tons of red light camera's around here

NetRodent 04-25-2003 04:51 PM

Regardless of the law, those things don't work as advertised.

3 M supply a paint used by police in Europe and prolly the USA which reflects 98% of any light hitting it i think its called Scotchlight . It was expensive at around $200 for a small 250cc tin but spray a thin coating on you licence plate and any photo will be over exposed as most of the flash light bounces back to the camera.

I heard it was a scam!

beemk 04-26-2003 11:42 AM

looks like a scam to me

Sasha18 04-26-2003 12:56 PM

i'm gonna buy it and see if it works

iroc409 04-26-2003 12:59 PM

it works to an extent. it effectively removes the ability to photograph a license plate from certain common-use angles.

here's what i was going to do though, total stealth car :)

laser jammers on the license plate, which are part of the detector setup i'm looking at. then, using RAM (radar absorbent material) in the paint (like the stealth) so they can't tag it with a radar gun. i have some more mods, but i'm busy and don't want to go into detail. but basically building a very nice looking radar-free car :glugglug

Nope. They said that on the news after some people were covering their plates to avoid paying on the 407.
