Canadian BW Vs. American BW - Which is really cheaper?
Ok, so some of you guys think that Canadian Bandwidth is cheaper than american bandwidth, which i think is completely wrong!
1 Mbit/sec @ 200CDN with a 40MBit/sec commitment = $8,000 CDN/ 1 Mbit/sec @ 60 USD with a 40MB/sec Commit = 2,400USD *1.45 = 3,480 CDN (1.45 is the exchange rate) So, even if you guy your BW at 200mbit/sec, you can still get it cheaper.. For canadian Bandwidth to be cheaper you will need to find it at <100 a Mbit/sec. So, who sells bandwidth in Canada at under $100 CDN per mbit? |
Notjoe, I dont think you have the full picture.
Bandwith can be as cheap. If I told you some of our customers are paying 100$ Can per Mbit... Specially if your talking high volumes like 40Mbits + would you beleive it? Trust me, its possible. :Graucho |
Another issue to consider is the quality of the bandwidth on sale, and the latency between you and your customers.

Exactly, the quality of the bandwith here is unreal...

Its possible but (and dont take it the wrong way) the quality may or may not be as good and there may or may not be the redundant connectivity as you would normally encounter in the States. There are lots of factors i didnt take into account such as what if you are pulling GBits/sec, that would bring down the overall cost. |
ICQ database down...
