I run a business. I know what minimum wage is in quite a few states. Actually here in Oregon min wage is $6.90 an hour. But Federal min wage is lower.

I had to get up to pay someone.

$6.90 is what employees make. I'm not hiring anyone. I am paying for sevices. If I hired all these guys, I would have to pay min wage, plus medicare, plus lane transit tax (the local bus system), plus social security, plus workers comp. A $6.90 worker, costs me almost $11 an hour.
