If there's one thing you can know about men like Rex Tillerson, John Kelly and Jim Mattis -- it's that they probably don't suffer fools easily. And Donald Trump is most definitely a fool. Probably the king of fools.

I agree. When he came on board all I saw was Exxon taking over the world. In reality though Tillerson seems like a smart guy who's calm, cool and collected.

I think its reassuring to know he has a back-channel to NK. Any time Trump says something stupid. At least Rex can get on the horn and tell NK to calm down and apologize for his idiot boss.

Only thing he denied is that he threatened to quit. He didn't deny calling the moron a moron.

So you have one half of that narrative explicitly denied by the original speaker, and one half unconfirmed and uncorroborated, except Tillerson says the whole story is 'petty nonsense' and 'erroneous.' Does that seem like real news? Why bother with facts at all? This sort of denial won't change one vote or get one person to the polls.

Donald Trump is a moron. Real men like Rex Tillerson, a proven leader amongst men, don't suffer fools like Trump well. The only thing keeping Tillerson at the state department is the hopes of bypassing sanctions somehow and getting that $500 billion deal to drill oil with Russia to work for Exxon.

Tillerson is a hard core, stereotypical Republican who is true to his values -- I can respect that even if I do not agree with some of his values. Read: not a con man or outright two faced liar -- like his *boss* ...

It is called integrity and I value that trait in politics and business regardless.
