I seen the cutest ones today.A jack russel and a boston terrier and the one I want was a mini shelty(little lassie). My cat Oscar might be a little intimidated so thats why I want a small dog :)

I seen the same one as well.They live only a short life like 8 or 9 years and kinda pricey at the store I was at 1500 bucks (canadian) I would go to a shelter

oh... the Eukuanuba Dog Competition was on television tonight.

and the Bernese was mentioned a few times and they had a few of them. I believe they were in the 'Working Dog' category...

my favorite is the women who are all dressed up nice and proper... walking their little dogs... picking up the shit on the street!

In animal years 'old' is a relative term. While you might consider a 2 yr. old dog as being 'old', actually it's still considered as being young.

I'm very involved in Rottweiler Rescue (have been for over 2 yrs now), and we adopted our rottie from a shelter. He was only 10 months old when we got him, neutered, AKC Registered, housebroken, obedience trained and knew a few basic 'security' commands also. When we adopted him, his previous owners actually had a duffel bag full of his items, AKC papers, his original bill of sale from the breeder (which is great info to have, in the event of later hip dysplasia or other genetic problems), his vet records, his food dishes, and alot of his toys. :)

Granted not every dog adopted from a shelter will come with all of these items, but they usually make up for that in an over abundance of love for their new owners. :thumbsup

all she does is hop in my lap when she wants lub.. but then if i ignore her she'll hiss and growl at me :/
