Looks like Rick's Cabaret did a nice and effective legal move on PayPal for their new policies.

Right on. Ebay is stupid. They bought PayPal for their own use, then tried to shut everyone else out. Fucking dolts.

So how does that leave the rest of us without auction sites?

Of course, those people that were planning on using the Mature section of Ebay to get around the restrictions are SOL right now.

I wonder how many adult related transactions PayPal conducts in a month.. How can they walk away from that?

There's some people here with serious cash flow...and enough traffic they could feed an adult online auction site that would accept epassporte payments.

I'm sure if this industry gathered enough parties interested and hired a top law firm we could litigate the PayPal situation successfully and get them back to not discriminating against adult transactions.

Sometimes its as easy as making a company open their books up for discovery that will get them to reverse their position. All sorts of corporate misdeeds can come to light.

But this means there is more room for adult sales and auctions other places.

No doubt ebay is fucking up paypal. Already has. They buy paypal because people used them instead of that lame billpoint system they had, but dropping adult sales and now auctions is a bad move. The net does not revolve around ebay, that's for sure.

Fuck'em... let them burn.
