Cam Models in Los Angles

I just moved to LA and I'm trying to understand what's the work ethic here.. do young girls (18-25yo) absolutely refuse to work and are just lazy or am I doing something wrong asking them to put in 40 hours a week, respect a schedule and show up on time?

Same problem I had in Ct for years. Solved it with by turning to the data. Result only hire 24 and over unless the girl has an incredible personality. Your own data should reveal the same.

If they were capable of doing that, they'd be working a regular job. Not strictly a So. Cal. issue at all, pretty much they way it is most places.

In part, that's the work ethics of LA and they use traffic as the excuse. No worries, you will soon learn how to play the game to your advantage.

Work ethic in Los Angeles... thats an oxymoron. LA is a company town for entertainment its not a 9-5 job kinda place. Just walk into any Starbucks anywhere and you will find that its probably full of people 18-40 in front of laptops writing the next TV show, movie script, YouTube channel ect...

If you're setting up a studio - good luck. LA may be just about the worst city to do that in.

Goodluck with your cam

AndyA 09-26-2017 03:36 AM

Nope unless they are working remotely your going to have quite a time getting them to show up.. you WILL build that up but it could take some time to find even 10 good hard working girls

OneMillionGirls 09-26-2017 05:13 AM

best luck for ya

In this day and age why would any girl worth a shit need a cam studio? The best ones are already broadcasting on their own and don't need a middleman...

Paul Markham 09-26-2017 09:31 AM

Just pay them well enough to command respect. That means more than she can earn without you.

I can't stop laughing hard enough to complete a response.

La isnt the place i would go for this

Adraco 09-26-2017 01:41 PM

LA girls would jump ship the second they think they have scored with a movie producer or similar. Most come to LA to make it, big time and are prepared to give up all else to get it. I think it will be incredibly hard for you to recruit girls who stay with you, every day, over longer time periods. If they find a better day gig, they?re gone!

Most will work 0-5 hours per week.

Studios have advantages. A good studio will invest in high speed computers, good quality cameras, lighting and sound, to produce a much better broadcast than a typical model can do from home.

The studio owner also has full control over the the content of the broadcast for his or her site. This can mean the models, costumes, makeup, timing, speciality shows etc.)

True, even the strip clubs in LA require 6 hours per day and 3 days per week.

I see that happening now, especially on Periscope. The girls are doing private broadcast and they get paid before they start the broadcast. They make in 30 minutes what it takes to make in 6 hours on a cam broadcast. I can see disruption in the cam business model coming.

RyuLion 09-27-2017 02:45 PM

Try harder, but a different City other than LA.

Tell them ahead of time what is required and give them a 2 week trial.
