red pill: easy way to beat energy weapons...
 

I was eating dried prunes, seedless, and thought of an easy way to beat energy weapons with simple physics even red hats can understand...

say a ship has a kick ass energy weapon that can take out a heavy missile in say 5-6 seconds...this hypothetical heavy missile is filled with water and a thin strip of explosive down the middle...it explodes when the energy weapon disables it and creates a huge water vapor that lasts in the air say 10 seconds...this is the new "event horizon"...water can absorb immense amounts of energy, the distance to the ship has now been reduced for 5-6 seconds...energy can not pass and focus efficiently past this point but another missile can make through it just fine...repeat 2-3 times until you close the distance by say 15-20 seconds...then send like 5 medium ass kicking missiles though the last mist and chuckle sovietly :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

ok heres what needs to be done...

1) american board members:

inform the army that it is wasting money on this...they did not think this through...a guy eating prunes gave it like 20 seconds thought...epic fail...demand that they stop the silly idea...also ask them to stop calling perfectly visible planes on old russian radar "stealth aircraft" when they aint :2 cents:

2) russian members:

Ok I was relaxing my nuts and thought of a 1 missile way...

A missile with say a 1 meter metal rod that has a thin water jet nozzle on the top...

Edit for red hats: this would make water vapor in front of the missile...water scatters the energy beam plus absorbs the heat...this is bad...ok now try to understand...good job...

I don't think this would work.

First I think it would be kind of expensive. You have to launch a missile that looks like the rest, and it needs propellent, etc. The explosive on the side has to be strong enough to destroy the missile, be sensitive enough to capture the energy from the energy weapon, but can't be too sensitive that it explodes while being handled.

Next even if this works, the water cloud will only last a few seconds as it will start falling right away, and be out of the trajectory of the next missile in a few seconds.

What I wondered about is this: What if missiles were just painted white, or even silver? If it is super reflective it might not absorb enough energy from the energy weapon to explode. Then again this might make it more visible too.

An energy weapon I saw on Youtube about a month ago used light that was invisible to the eye. They didn't say the wavelength but I would guess that it would be at least Ultraviolet or higher.

If they can coat a missile that reflects light of that wavelength, maybe it might be harder to shoot down.

I'm lost ...

The missile can be pre programmed to explode at a certain temp...or after a certain time say 4 seconds from first energy blast...

Reflecting won't work at every wavelength ..


Another 20 second idea...Babushka missile...say 3-4 missiles in one another or in segments...one layer/ segment gets destroyed and the next one kicks in...


If only the us army gave this like 60 seconds thought...bummer...
