GALLERYMAKERS - how much longer will you survive ??
 

... with more and more TGP´s switching to sponsored hosted galleries, how much longer will the average joe shmoe gallery maker will be around ??

TGP's still need the good stuff if they want bookmarkers and people to hang out.

So very true. Just look at some of those hosted galleries. They are horrendous at best.

True, the days of someone just sticking up any old crap are gone.

Well they can still stick it up but they will not get much for it.

The real question is how long will TGP's be around with nothing but hosted gallerys

which is actually good for TGPs that are different and actually have a variety of content.. if everybody has the same old hosted galleries and you have new different stuff.. who will the surfer go to and bookmark?

All the smaller TGPs combined have more traffic than the big TGPs.

Actually, it would be interesting to see with all the sponsor hosted galleries what search engine spiders will do.

visuals are HUGE, it's all psychology, for example the color pink gets you horny...

anyhow, my point is this, sponsor hosted galleries will never own the entire market, simply because there will always be a new designer come along who will make shit look better enabling him/her to sell more...

I make a very nice living posting galleries- I never make more than 2-3 a week but I make sure they are very high quality and ultra clean. Also, I only promote the best sites, where surfers are likely to stay for months and make sure I am in a recurring program.
Also, the TGPs who depend too heavily on hosted galleries are losing traffic- Check Sextracker
The bottom line is that lousy galleries don't convert and are a waste of everybody's time, effort and bandwidth.:thumbsup

I'll be 24 soon, so I figure I have at least 50 years left...give or take 5-10. :)
