The truth is that last summer was very good whilei was expecting the opposite. Traffic drops,but ratios are very strong during summer. I can't recall a single sponsor I did worse than 1:250

Exactly. The summer slowdown is as real as the pre-Christmas shopping season slowdown and the post-Christmas whopping credit card bill season slowdown. Not to mention the tax-time slowdown and back-to-school slowdown. Appearently the whole year is a slowdown for some people. I guess its easier to explain worse performance by attributing it to the time of year than to some problem they can fix.
