2257 & Sponsors?
Totally serious 2257 question:
I have my info on a link from my paysite's main page to cover my original content. For the sponsors who's banners and promotional content I host on my site, on my servers, do I just add their Custodian info to the list? Copy and paste the info for them? Also for the info on any content I purchased in addition to what I shot? I think a lot of people are overlooking those sorts of things, since it is acquired content in some form that we are allowed to use. I would think some distinction SHOULD be made on the 2257 page, or else the list looks like a phone book, no? |
No idea, couldn't care less. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Someone must be thinking about this.
Surely, if the law were interpetted literally, I doubt 99% of the sites out there list the 2257 info down to each banner, thumbnail, and promo pic they post from another site. Could bite you in the ass. |
We shoot all of our own content, and we use this content for our banners..... So we have 2257 for every banner, flyer, or whatever we put out there.

Everyone is wrapped up in this 2257 law thing. Here are the reasones, other than 2257 law, why you need the documentation.
1. Proves who the models are and ages. 2. Proves that the models agreed to the selling and publishing of the pictures . 3. Proves the guy you are getting it from has the rights to resell it. Wake up call. You are now in the internet porno industry, where unscupulous people will sell you pics of 17 year olds they shot for fun, or stole pictures of. All our content comes with full documentation. |
