What Dis Mean? 'Partner Account'?
 

I'm hearing more and more about big TGP/MGPs 'partnering' with independent paysites, exclusive content paysites usually.

Is this what they mean by 'partner accounts'? What is the typical arrangement for a partner acccount with a major TGP?

TGP gets a bigger revshare % to these 'partner' sites in return for regular listings and hosting the galleries?

When you get a partner account from a tgp, this means your galleries are posted without being reviwed. They usually give partner account to trusted submitters. This is completely different from your definition though...

not really what i'm talking about, these 'partnerships' seem to be more involved than what u describe.

Depends the TGP -

1) There are TGPs that will offer a partner account for a link to their sponsor on every gallery.

2) There are TGP's that will partner with a paysite (usually something smaller) either the paysite owner or the webmaster will make the gallery - and they partner on the sales generated - 60-40% or 50-50% - but they aren't galleries everyone has access to.

3) There are TGP's that simply a partner account is a trusted account meaning you can submit your galleries without having to be reviewed - but if you cheat - you still get caught.
