Capped (Not 95th Percentile) servers
 

Any hosts offer this? All I ever see is 95th. I always had the fear using that. A horrible 12 hour spike puts my bandwidth bill up $3,000 for the month.

i'm sure i could work something out for you plus we charge per .5mbps instead of charging a full mbps when people dont use a full one

All hosts offer capped pricing.

Its more that some hosts dont offer AVERAGE pricing.

We can offer capped bandiwith if you wish.
Or sustained average, wich is way better then 95% percentile.

Quit getting fucked... get average (50%) billing. We offer it, many companies do. It doesn't punish you for huge spikes and there is no reason to cap yourself at all.

:2 cents: Capped bandwidth also seems to limit your transfer rates which doesn't appear to be beneficial for most Webmasters either.

[size=huge] Candid Hosting [/size] offers billing by the Meg, by the GB, on avereage, or on the 95th percentile (customers choice). So far, since I have been in the industry, the majority of Webmasters seem to prefer billing on the average method by the GB of transfer! :winkwink:
