Sanctions that China & Russia will ignore, as always. Same bullshit with them, different day.

Hypocrisy yes - Also self preservation - Say you where a bad neighbor and they got pissed off with it and threatened to burn down your house - Do you just ignore it? - No, you would deal with it - That's what is happening...

You could change your ways and become a good neighbor I suppose - It would make you look weak though in a tough neighborhood.....

pimpmaster9000 08-06-2017 01:47 AM

Yes but the USA is the one who attacked all you neighbors and their neighbors and basically is a really really bad neighbor...like in a really bad way...

True - I agree - However they are in the situation NOW that they can't ignore the threats - It's hypocrisy yes - However, they can't just ignore it...

You can say what you want - Argue that the US deserve it - 300 million people are not just going to lay down and take it on the chin - They will protect themselves and they should.....

Yes the Crips have been busy with the war racket and now fear retribution...poor Crips having to reap what they sow...but they are mistaken if they think the world will just bend over and be invaded so that crip profits remain high...

The United Nations Security Council just voted 15-0 to sanction North Korea. China and Russia voted with us. Very big financial impact!

Be nice if it works. Big if.

Sarn 08-06-2017 05:22 AM

United Nations Resolution is the single largest economic sanctions package ever on North Korea. Over one billion dollars in cost to N.K.

They have 6 billion trade with China. If cut 1 billion it will not change situation IMHO

pimpmaster9000 08-06-2017 05:54 AM

Arm the fuck up or be the next Vietnam...

2MuchMark 08-06-2017 06:10 AM

This is a great response. It's clear, it's strong, it's reserved (in a Trump world). It will hurt UN, and the money flow will slow down his missile program.

Of course it can hurt his people too. He may decide to divert funds for things his people need towards weapons. Who knows.

Sarn 08-06-2017 06:42 AM

Still have time for evacuation from SK, Japan

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A ban on travel by U.S. passport holders to North Korea will take effect on Sept. 1 and Americans in the country should leave before that date, the U.S. State Department said on Wednesday.

It will punish the people exclusively...if you think Kim's stash of Cuban cigars is going to get any smaller you are dead wrong...the us gov knows it will punish the people because sanctions only strengthen dictators but tough talk is required and nobody really cares about the people of n.korea...

Food will become even more scarce in n.korea...this is what's up...

Barry-xlovecam 08-06-2017 07:04 AM

That is the point -- make the people suffer and die off or overthrow the dictator's regime.

Sanctions did work in case of South Africa -- South Africa also destroyed the few nuclear weapons they had. North Korea is not South Africa -- very different situation there.

seeandsee 08-06-2017 07:37 AM

anybody in god damn world who cares about this?

no it just galvanizes the people around the dictator and makes him even stronger..."a hundred beatings over somebody elses ass hurt nothing at all"...

Don't bother with him, everything he says has one theme, he hates America.

Rochard 08-07-2017 09:10 AM

So.... Trump's solution here is... More of the same? Outstanding.

They voted for the sanctions because they know they're going to violate them as always. Putin always ALWAYS breaks his agreements. China always breaks their agreements regarding North Korea sanctions. From 2010, many other examples over the years but here's one U.N. Shocker! China Helps North Korea Cheat on Sanctions. You're old enough to know this well Paul :1orglaugh
