Its 99 after rebates... man dont trust rebates, Sears/Circuit City and CompUSA never send you you're money. I'v sent in about 10 rebates and I haven't received any.

they don't ship to canada? :(

CAREFUL! I was thinking the same thing but the xbox only recognizes HDDs which are 140 gig and smaller (120 gig to be safe)

fuck who cares about the rebate, at that price, thats unreal, I was looking at 120 gig drives in canada and they were about 250
so thats like 175 USD

I think it is only 1 rebate per household.

i've got a 160Gb drive in my v1.0 xBox w/ no problems, i thought 160Gb was the acknowledged barrier, according to those over at xbox-scene.com..?

I had to email them since I live in canada and wanted one, this is the response I got

I picked up the same drive a few weeks ago when comp usa had a 6 hour sale its actually a 180 gig drive and you get a free ata-100 or ata-133 controller with it in case your system does not support that big of a drive definatly a good deal.

For those of you who're paranoid, this rebate center is fast.

Unlike most of the other CrapUSA rebate centers-- Which are very slow.

CompUSA SUCKS HAIRY MOOSE BALLS.

They owe me a couple hundred bucks for those rebates. The best was the time they sent me a postcard asking for more proof I bought the item (the UPC and receipt are apparantly not enough) and told me I had until 5 days prior to getting the postcard to get them this info.

I remember when they were a reasonable store. Not anymore!
