19 shots to take Las Vegas car chase down

while I understand some vigilantes & criminals need taking down, the police seem to be acting hot headed. I know for fact, double tap should take any criminal down, shoot him in the legs and he´s not running anywhere....

Chafoya then fled on foot, reportedly firing once in the air before aiming his weapon at the pursuing officers and firing once again.

The police responded with a hail of gunfire, firing 26 rounds and striking the suspect 19 times. His female companion, Ashley Elizabeth Olivetti, 31, was also struck in the wrist, but police have yet to determine whether the round that hit her was from their weapons or the suspect?s pistol.
So this is a possibility their own weapons discharge was at fault for the female officer being hit...

While this will not effect most of us, but still, are the police becoming more brutal?

In the States, I had friends whose entire family was and still is in law enforcement. They are trained (brainwashed) not to disarm but to kill anyone and anything that is a threat to them.

You think its bad enough that petty criminals and wrongdoers get killed, google how many times police kill dogs that are on private property.

So yes police are becoming more brutal.

Your stupidity is surpassed only by your photography skills.

That would account for many things.
