Would a sponsor kill ur account if u do this?
 

i was scrolling thru some domain names and i found that

lesbo101.net
lesbo101.org
were both taken.

lesbo101.com, or gammacash does not own these 2 names. However, if u look at lesbo101.net, it slightly mirror's that of the .com

i was wondering if a sponsor would sue/ close the account due to similar (stolen from .com) designs?

not sure how much they like it, but yeah its done.

but are there any legal implications towards the affiliate for doing this?

There is if the people with the main site/domain have trademarked the name.

There is also the issue of content licenses - if the mirror sites are using content which is not freely distributed to their affiliates then you are putting yourself at legal risk.

Finally, you could potentially and yourself in hot water if you have taken the graphics and html from the main site and mirrored them.

Let me put it this way. I don't like it when someone deliberately snags a variation on one of my domains. However, if someone is going to have such a domain, I'd rather if it was promoting my site.

Why not ask the sponsor if its ok?

like i was looking at tawneestone.net and .org

both of these should not be violating any content problem since it redirects to tawneestone.com with their affiliate tags.

but lookinat at lesbo101.net.. which has content from lesbo101.com... some of the content is allowed by the affiliate to use.. but not the graphics and layout of the page, which mirrors the .com one

just curious coz i dont want to get into hot water!
