Also, no law is even necessary to realize you should not be hunting animals for sport, game, fun, especially killing babies or mothers with their babies, of any race, religion, species, etc

Sorry but having grown up in the sticks I can tell you, no matter the law, country folk & hunters are gonna do to animals what they please. Aside from my "dad" I've never been out hunting or trapping with anyone that was sadistic or wanted to do the wrong thing, but those people always exist and don't give a shit about the long term consequences, suffering of other creatures, or the law.
