her voice was truly legendary...the woman changed the landscape of jazz and blues music as we know it..

For people that actually read/watch the news, the title is not misleading at all. I didn't even think of "our" Nina until people brought it up

Anyway, RIP to Nina Simone, she was an amazing artist with an awesome voice

Why not? It's not like she's a damn cult figure. She's just another web amateur. When people say Nina, I think of Nina Simone before I think of the Nina that Knows Best.

The thread title freaked me out a bit... but I'm sure that's not what you intended.

On the other hand, I've always been a big Nina Simone fan... she's listed on my bio page. Four Women is one of my favorite songs.

Never heard of Nina Simone before this thread. This board is not frequented by Nina Simone, nor is this board about jazz singers. It IS however synonymous with adult, and IS frequented by the Nina from ninaknowsbest, who most of us know (and love).
