Need stereo/speakers suggestions

Ok, Insurance paid for the flood that wrecked my some stereo components, need to replace CD and receiver and Bose table top speakers & woofer.

Want surround for my big screen TV etc, will hire an installer to install them in the room etc.

Some say Yamaha are the ones to get, some say not.

What do you recommend for surround sound, and components.
I had an Onkyo receiver before.

Better to get CD jukebox or just the 5-CD tray...??

Just want to say: stay away from Encore products.

speaker craft are a bit pricey but are excellent effects speakers, plus everything is hidden in the walls/ ceiling

aim 3's are about $800/pr and you can use 6 for full DTS sound effects,

trust me my kids completely take over the big screen on the weekends, for watching movies etc :(

I like Polk speakers myself, somewhat more pricy than the average stuff but definitely GOOD stuff. :)

If the speakers were for computers I would recommend any product from Altec Lansing
