on the real though.

instead of just sitting back and getting high.

educate yourself, speak out.

read the Shafers Commision report and familiarize yourself with the facts that Nixon commision tests on marijuana, and he denied the reports when they were finalized.

the evidence cannot be hidden , this was in 1972.

Marihuana: A Signal Of Misunderstanding

get involved instead of stoned.

'March 22nd marks the 30th anniversary of the release of the report of the so-called "Shafer Commission" -- the National Commission on Marihuana and Drug Abuse -- whose members were appointed by then-President Richard Nixon. The Shafer Commission's (named after commission Chair, Gov. Raymond Shafer of Pennsylvania) 1972 report, entitled "Marihuana: A Signal of Misunderstanding," boldly proclaimed that "neither the marihuana user nor the drug itself can be said to constitute a danger to public safety" and recommended Congress and state legislatures decriminalize the use and casual distribution of marijuana for personal use.

By 1977, even the President of the United States was convinced: then-President Jimmy Carter -- citing the Shafer Commission -- told Congress "Penalties against drug use should not be more damaging to the individual than the use of the drug itself. Nowhere is this more clear than in the laws against possession of marijuana in private for personal use.'

According to editors of the prestigious Lancet British medical journal: "The smoking of cannabis, even long-term, is not harmful to health. ... It would be reasonable to judge cannabis as less of a threat ... than alcohol or tobacco."

drugs kill?

shows what you know of science.

how many people in your family benefit from medicine and drugs?

you ever lost someone close to cancer? I have. MORE THAN ONE.

tell me sport, you ever watch someone die slowly wishing you could ease their pain? ever have to look at the eyes of a woman who has had her breasts removed because of breast cancer? wishing they had even an appetite to live?

youve never looked into the eyes of someone wishing to die have you? i bet you havent.

Its obvious you sit too young to drink casting ideas on what you think is right.

when meanwhile cancer patients suffer in this country because of people like you who tie terrorism to science to fuel your political backing.

the day you watch a family member die from cancer your opinion on medical marijuana will matter.

drugs dont kill kid, pick up a book on medicine sometime.

Fletch XXX 04-20-2003 07:04 PM

i cant believe i am surrounded by people who think CHEMOTHERAPY is great, but oh dont let a cancer patient smoke a plant.

radiation over nature?

hahaha

Jon 04-20-2003 07:07 PM

It's customery to smoke up every hour on the hour.

Then again some shitty things happened on April 20th like Hitler's birth and Columbine shootings..

But thats what the weed is for, to smoke, and forget about the bad things.

Happy 420. :rasta :smokin :thumbsup

Struth. In Brandon, Manitoba of all places, this past Friday night there was an incident like this. No gun involved, but a guy got the ever-lovin' shit kicked out of him royally by two guys who took his case of beer off him.

They reportedly "Just wanted his fuckin' beer" ha ha..... I'd have given it to them then shot them.

Wtf does that have to do with what i said?
Are you dying of cancer?

I couldn't care less about the laws. In fact, I wish drugs were legal so the streets would be a little cleaned out from the criminal drug-dealers.

Will you ever get my point? Drugs fuck you up. What's wrong with being sober? What's wrong with feeling healthy and strong (and no, i dont mean steroid-strong)? I'm just irritated by the people trying to convince others (especially kids) that being a pothead is not unhealthy.

Which one of these are you:
- I'm fucking up myself with drugs and I know it. Life is short, fuck it all. I can't handle the pain, fuck it all. I don't wanna be alive when I'm old, fuck it all.
- I'm fucking up myself with drugs and I don't even know it. I read some articles here and there, most likely written by other potheads, which is totally enough to "prove" that smoking pot is totally healthy. Well they say it even helps cure cancer, so it must be good shit! Let's spread the word!

I also have nothing against a smoker as long as he is killing himself with it, away from others. But if you smoke next to other healthy people, you deserve to be sent to jail for attempting to intoxicate others.

Alcoholics also deserve to be chained to their backyard, who can't behave themselves when they drink. Oh, the ones who drink and drive just deserve to be shot.

As long as you don't have have cancer or have one of your testicals removed, don't give me that medical crap.

ps. nothing personal, just a rant about how people can talk about drugs.
