How could you like a site with such irresponsible pics in the free preview???? Lets all keep supported extreme sites, with pretty fucked preview pics any child can see by clicking enter. Then we wonder why is the govt coming after us???

tony286 04-20-2003 09:17 AM

fyi the new bill that will become law states :Sec. 602(b), which reads, "It is the sense of Congress that the online commercial adult entertainment industry should voluntarily refrain from placing obscenity, child pornography, or material that is harmful to minors on the front pages of their websites to protect juveniles from material that may negatively impact their social, moral, and psychological development."

Not to mention simply how pathetic of a tour that is. It screams of somebody who bought a cd, it came with a seniors section.. and he used all the photos to build that tour.

Blah.

Or, use common sense and don't put actual SEX on your tours. It amazes me how blatant some tours are, especially from sponsors.

Adult Site Law always said "no sex on tours" and I've followed that.

Yes, but in paragraph 67 sec 341(c):" it is the sense of CDSmith that parents should look after and mind their own kids and be cognizant of what their children's online habits are. In other words, it is NOT the job of the adult webmaster to babysit *your* children. With all the filtering software programs available out there such as netnanny and safesurf etc, parents need to start accepting their role as parents and not blaming others for the "corruption" of their offspring."

Subsection 20(d) also states "Most television shows and TV movies that contain scenes of nudity, sexuality, violence and course language are urged and in some areas required to show a warning disclaimer before airing such programs. So to adult websites, for the most part, do display a similar warning. Until such time that the rules governing televised adult content are changed, it should be the same rules for both types of media, thus it is up to the parents themselves to supervise and control what their precious brats are viewing on TV or on the internet."

I'm just glad I could help.

Non secure billing form (all done through the site, not a third party signup page), and IMG SRCing toplist gateway pages... hmmm.

Why bother signing up anyway, I think the preview just showed the entire members area. :Graucho

so its ok to put cp inside the members area?? what a badly written piece of text

Rochard 04-20-2003 05:10 PM

It is not my job to baby sit someone's else children. Setting a child loose on the Internet without proper adult supervision is like sending a child on a bus alone to New York City.

There is all this discussion about what we can and cannot put on our tours..... But what about newsgroups? They can put up what ever they want with no protection what so ever, yet no one says boo about it.

Back in the real world where we all live that excuse doesnt work. Also before online it was hard to see porn as a kid. Now they dont even have to surf to see porn,I get naked pics spammed to me everyday. Also on TV most of the more adult stuff is on later at night but with online porn its there 24 hours a day. That atitude is going to cause a radical shift in what we do and not for the better. Think about it Hustler.com go to the site and check out the free tour there nothing too graphic on it ,all the slits are covered with stars. I know this is going to be a stretch in thought for some but Larry who has very deep pockets and has the best first amendment lawyer in the country on retainer so he can go to war with the right wing and there is a good chance ha can win Instead he chooses to tone things down, maybe old Larry sees the future coming and he is trying to protect the business he loves. Unlike simpletons who think this can never happen and use the lame excuse its not my problem but it is your problem because when you are back at Starbucks and remembering how nice it was to work for yourself until the govt tightened up on online porn and now if you are not a big company, your not in it. You can say I was not a baby sitter and that will be $2.95 for that expresso.
