FRee trials or Paid Trials?
 

Hey folks,

what do you think converts better, free trials or paid($1.99-$2.99) trials?

It has been my experience that paid trials convert much better. What I think is happening is that surfers dont like the word "Free", they probably dont trust it and think they will be charged something no matter what. When they see a price, they know what they will be charged.

Besides, they still need to enter their C\C number for that "free" trial, once they have their cock in one hand and Credit card in the other, I dont think the $2.99 will stop them from becoming a member.

What do you guys think?

Good question.. I'm curious about this myself.

depends, some say the higher the trial > the value of the site is perceived highter

but i have been doing good at ARS and QuickBuck lately with their free trials so it's hard to say.

Paid converts better... think about it.. the surfer is paying money up-front because they are interested to see what you have to offer...

If they like what they see... they will usually pay the extra bucks each month to stay a member...

Free trials are just people wanting to see free porn.
