During the impeachment process you are not "convicted". You are either impeached or not. Impeachment does not mean being removed from office. Clinton wasn't Acquitted; He was impeached.

Clinton was and will be forever an Impeached President. The senate did not find him "gulity" of the articles of impeachement that had been made against him.

Sarah is right, the senate then considers the impeachment and then can formally convict him on charges and remove him from office.
