I got a vx2000 today
 

This camera rocks, I was going to buy it online but most of the places are NYC and run by Jews and they are all on vaction so I called around locally. At hifi buys went back and forth with the manager first he said $2999.00 I got him to $2550 and that was with a 3yrs extended warranty. I got to take it home and dont have to worry about UPS punting it across the parking lot lol. Thanks for the info on this camera.

$2550 isn't too bad considering the extra 3 years warranty. I think I paid a couple hundred for an extended 5 year warranty on my D100.

got mine overnighted to me (via ebay). insurance replacement... dood gave it to me for $2000 and that was 2 years ago :)

wide angle lens is a must, also make sure you get a glass lens.

any samples video to see the quality yet?
