Domain law passed House and Senate!
D'OH! (I just saw this, sorry if its 'old news')
From the Washington Post: Sex, Spam, Congress... Congress spent much of yesterday debating the Internet's red light districts, washingtonpost.com reported. The House and Senate both passed the popular "Amber Alert" bill, which contains an amendment to prohibit online pornographers from using misleadingly titled domain names to trick children into going to sexually explicit Web sites. It also says that people who digitally "morph" legal sexual images of adults to resemble children can face fines and jail time if they claim that the images really dhahahahat children. Two senators also introduced a bill that tries to cut down on the proliferation of unsolicited commercial e-mail, also known as "spam," according to Reuters. |
Cross your fingers on the Supreme Court. They've been coming through for us for a dozen years now.
