Wait, you're calling music from Duke Nukem 3D classic? The real classic is the original 2D side-scrolling Duke. I loved that game and the 2D sequel. That game was so kickass. Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure and all the Commander Keen games were sweet, too.

Oh, yeah, almost forgot Hocus Pocus. Awesome!

I don't think Duke nukem 3D is "classic", though.

Wow, you really missed out. Apogee games was THE game publisher in the days of DOS, at least where shareware was concerned. They published the slickest, most imaginative and most fun games I have ever seen. In the original Duke Nukem, Duke would do forward flips when you jumped from platform to platform in a special way; that was amazing and groundbreaking back then :thumbsup

Man, you've got me feeling all nostalgic. I think I am going to try and find the old Apogee games online. Unfortunately, I don't think you can still buy the full versions, anywhere.

Check out Duke Nukem I and II, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, Blake Stone, Major Stryker and the entire Commander Keen series for some serious old-school fun!

Also, for OLD old-school fun, check out the Kroz games; the graphics were made up entirely of ASCII characters and the games were <I>still</I> fun.

Get this: you <B>can</B> still get the old Apogee games! Even better, their store seems to have instant download for a lot of them. Only $10 each and from what I remember, they are well worth it!
