How to get Java installed on Win XP?

I got a new laptop and discovered that windows xp home version does not have java installed for explorer. I can't find it anywhere on Microsoft's site, and when I go to download the Java Runtime Envirornment from Sun's website..the server always craps out on me.
Am I paranoid that MS doesn't want me to have Java (needed in a few places I go with Explorer), or what am I missing to get Java installed into the browser? |

back when i just had installed XP i got a promt everytime IE wanted to load a applet and i could say Download, so i said download ;)

 I'm watching Framed on TV.
When finished, I will post a link from one of my servers with the "virtual machine" original java, If you really want it: reply here. It is a real pain in the ass this fight Microsoft-Sun. |
