I am very interested in creating an automated telephone (900) version of my online escort directory.

I have spent some time doing research but I keep running into brick walls, i.e. MCI is no longer in the business, etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions or knowledge?

Do I need my own PBX or will some third party have a customizable system?

What kind of costs should I expect?

Your best bet is to go a telecom hosting facility and have them build it for you.

Expect to invest about 5K to get it done, they will also arrange lines and billing.

Or you can work with those make a million dollar now guys and kill time and money and get nothing.

You should find a talented telephony software programmer to write the customized app that you can use for your own services and then license it to other escort services as well.

Requirements:

(900) that charges per call and not by the minute.

Escort listings can be searchable by region (zip code or area code), ethnicity, body type, price, etc. via a numeric menu or imput. The system will announce the results and play a complete verbal description of each lady with contact information.

Administratively, each listing will be managed by the phonemaster and categorized in the taxonomy by numeric imput. I don't want a system that the escort themselves can manage or edit, only the phonemaster.

One could view this similiar to a personals (900), but not as complete.

Ok you need a inbound 900 number with a flat rate

Simple database driven stuff they should be able to setup, and if the descriptions wont be pre-recorded it will have to support text to speech

I would hire a lady with a nice voice to do the pre-recorded descriptions.
