Wonton Prediction: US to Attack Syria, Iran and Saudi Arabia Soon

From The UK Observer:

The American Imperium

Defeat of Saddam does not end US ambitions in the Middle East. The friends of President Bush have grand plans to create an American Imperium - and to consolidate their power at home......

Digipimp 04-17-2003 02:52 PM

You're crazy bro. However with that being said the only way the US will ever truly be able to combat terrorism is to eliminate dictatorships througout the middle east with covert ops and force and free up the press of those countries and allow the people to choose their own government leaders. This needs to be done in almost all countries in the middle east and I hope that we do it.

First up, I'm not crazy (well maybe just a little). Read the above article from a respected British newspaper. The war plans are starting to get out in the mainstream as they are becoming undeniable...

Secondly, the last thing the US wants is true democracy in the middle east. If that were to occur, every arab country would democratically elect leaders who were hell-bent to the cause of destroying Israel by any means necessary. Terrorism would hardly stop.

Democracy is not the goal - Puppet Governments is what we are after, in addition to a number of other things.

you arent predicting anything, youre agreeing with someone else. ;)

The other point I find very amusing in your post is that the US is supposed to use "covert ops" to install democracies, when the CIA has a 50-year history of using covert ops to do the exact opposite - installing and supporting brutal dictators.

True, but my predictions on these matters pre-date that article. If ya don't believe me, do a search on GFY for my posts in the last two months and you will see that I predicted the toppling of Saudi Arabia and the upcoming attack on Syria way before any mainstream newspaper was predicting the same.

Wonton is plugged into reality and is two steps ahead of the so-called "free press".

Libertine 04-17-2003 03:08 PM

punkworld is plugged into reality a bit deeper and says this ain't gonna happen anytime soon, unless something weird happens.

galleryseek 04-17-2003 03:11 PM

the us owns everyone, they can do what they want.

Something "weird" is bound to happen only because the CIA will, on cue, create whatever incident is necessary to justify an attack at a time of our choosing.

The instigating weird event can be anything from seeding the media with false stories of how the president of Syria rapes 6 year old girls while laughing maniacally or an "attack" on the scale of 9-11 to justify hitting all three countries at once (Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia).

The war games are just begining.....

You're not getting something bro. I'm not in support of the current US administration and I'm well aware that the CIA as well as the US Govt is in favor of puppet governments and supports many dictatorships. What I am saying is that we should stop that and crush the dictatorships, even the ones that support us and that we keep in power, we should crush them and free up the press in those countries and open the radio, newspapers and television to free media that the rest of the world sees. The people in those countries only hate us because they are poor and don't have free press and only see what their governments allow them to see which is a slanted point of view. If we were to open up those countries all of them, via covert and overt ops we could give them free press and allow them to choose their own govts and see the reality of the views of the rest of the world and that would do more to slow terrorism than anything else that we might ever do.

By that logic, your simple statement above is itself a sign of ignorance.

It is not paranoia. It is deduction based on a wider array of facts and information than what the general public consumes.

One cannot understand what happens in the world, in terms of geopolitics and war, without understanding the CIA.

If one has not read volumes of books about the CIA, its history and true objectives, then one does not know squat about the world situation.

Does anyone in the real world talk to you? Or is this the only outlet you have to spew your garbage?

How is posting a simple article, from a mainstream newspaper, suddenly described as "garbage". If you read the article (assuming you can read) the journalist is merely compiling quotes from various figures within the Bush administration to make a cogent case about predicting that administration's war plans.

Where's the garbage?

DamnGoodRatio 04-17-2003 03:47 PM

I sincerely hope not. It is going to be American Imperialism, all over again. Pretty soon, you will be able to go to baghdad, damascus or medina and hear "G.I., hey G.I. - me jihad you long time! Fie dolla!

Swiftone 04-17-2003 06:04 PM

American Imperialism all over again? :(

Sorry but this statement is a bit ridiculous, compare American colonization with French, British, Spanish... any major country in Europe. When bitching about Imperialism start there please.

Well, this shit gets them readers. What do you expect?

90% of 'news' is blatant sensationalism.

I think former CIA Director James Woolsey said it best recently.

Speaking with reference to the regimes, dictators, and royal families in the Middle East he said,

"The United States is now on the side of those you fear the most, your own people."

Man that statement simply rocks with punching power!

playa 04-17-2003 06:51 PM

jeez,, please tell me when was the last time America ever took another country?
We never imperialize nothing.
we could of done it in Europe, Korea, Japan, Kuwait

So far all the media's prediction never came true,

war didn't take a year
the war plan did not fail
baghdad fell without a bloodbath

plus 100's of other headlines, i

BTW. I think you can cross Saudi Arabia off the list.

Saudi Arabia is the number one customer of the US military. They purchase Abrams tanks, F-15s and Patriot Missiles among other things. The Saudi's don't even finance their military purchases. Cash, baby.
