How do we know certain endangered animal species actually exist?

You see it all the time - Organisations raising money for 'endangered' animals on the verge of extinction... But it set me thinking... Do these animals actually exist, or is it all a scam and they pocket the money?

I mean, if its supposed to be a rare animal, then the only chances of us seeing them are on TV or in photos. Special effects are awesome and its hard to tell a CGI image these days and likewise a professional photo-shopper can put almost anything realistically into a photo...

The only exception would be zoos where you can view them in captivity, but even then, who's to say its simply not just a different animal, thats been dressed up in a costume? Its not like you get to go really close and stroke them, which is when you could check for zippers down the back and stuff...

I reckon scam artists like the WWF are pocketing thousands in this scam - What say you?

Every charity is a scam to some degree where someone benefits. Nobody does anything simply out the goodness of their heart.

Those cunts at "Save the children" gave themselves bumper pay rises of tens of thousands per year just a couple of years ago...

Undoubtably, but then at least we all KNOW that children exist. However when was the last time you touched a panda?

I am taking donations to help save the most endangered animal of them all - Sasquatch. :)
