traffic cash hit counting
i was messing around with traffic the past couple days, switching links and such. well i decided to take some links and switch them to traffic cash, i had used them in the past but they always seemed to give me such low hit counts so i stopped using them but thought i'd give em another chance.
well i noticed my hits sent to them almost dropped 50% compared to where i was sending it before, both sites counted 1st page uniques, unless im wrong, has anyone else noticed this? i mean they still sold well for me, but its a pain to try and guestimate what your conversion ratio really is. |
hit count been weird since the database crash

I think their tracking counts about every 17th hit

I can't stress this point enough, hits mean absolutely nothing. What matters is the number of signups you get. I get more uniques sending to silvercash or platinum bucks than traffic cash, so what? What matters is the bottom line, and if TCG generated the most money with the traffic I send them, I stick with them.
Uniques, raws, hits, all meant to try and give you more numbers to fancy up your stats, it means nothing really, that column that says $Payout is the only one I care for. WG |
Doesn't TCG count 2nd page uniques anyway?
|
i know wired guy, sales are what matter, but if your senting 1000 hits and only getting 1 or 2 sales, and your stats say you only sent 400-500 hits, then that seems somewhat misleading. but i guess its up to the webmaster to keep track of what he is really sending. i just wanted to see if others had this problem, maybe things will be better when they release tcg3.

TrafficCash counts 2nd page, but even those don't seem to match much of the time.
Like the other post says, everyone has their own way of counting and calculating conversions. The best thing to do is just look at your bottom line comparisons between programs. |
thanks guys, it makes a lot more sense if they count second page hits. guess i just gotta keep track on my end for more accuracy.
