Federal judge blocks Trump’s executive order cutting off federal funds for sanctuary cities

A federal judge in California on Tuesday blocked Donald Trump?s executive order cutting off federal funding to sanctuary cities.

The judge in San Francisco v. Donald J. Trump granted a preliminary injunction against the order, and in doing so called out ?the Government?s flawed interpretation of the order.?

The injunction, the Court states, ?[prohibits] the Government from exercising? the order ?in a way that violated the Constitution.?

ah another supreme court justice confirmed in the NYTimes this weekend that he was retiring this summer...................SO trump gets another supreme court justice in his first year making the court 6-3 conservative. So this ruling will mean nothing once that happens, actually his order is lawful the current court is right leaning 5-4 now and will probably overturn the lib california judge. Then it's done.

oh LOl I didn't read the entire article, the judge will be overturned without even needing to take it up a notch, the president can't withhold federal funds from anyone, congress can. If you knew anything you'd realize congress controls the purse, hence the pending shutdown of gov't coming up. They will simply partisan vote to not fund all things that are in the so called sanctuary cities/states.
