see, that's what i would have done. i don't see how we went this long _without_ "sweeping hand" fakes. i mean, come on, it doesn't take a genious to figure that out.

They are all over new york city, my wife went to new york and brought me home one for my birthday... i was happy, even though it was fake.

I picked up a bunch of fake rolex's from Vietnam recently, they're $3 each there, just go to the Ben Thanh markets and there are around 100 ppl trying to sell you 'genuine' rolex

God I miss Chinatown very hard to get good chinese in Atlanta. Yeah the best fake rolex's were in chinatown. I worked part time in a strip bar as a bartender and I had to wash some glasses. One of the regulars was there, he was a really nice guy and was a big executive with GM(He had a real rolex). So I take off my fake rolex to wash the glasses and he says you dont have to take it off its waterproof. I was too embrassed to tell him its a fake so I washed the glasses with it on and ruined it lol. OH to be young lol.

Just make sure you get a good quality fake Rolex. Most look like they are out of the gumball machine, but others you've got to look close.

The good ones are made to be replicas from the start, and have got all the markings engraved on the back, the logo on the band clasp, weigh a lot, etc... If it costs $10 at the local flea market, then it's likely not one of these.

I took a look there. Wow! They didn't even bother to alter the names or logos (e.g., Bolex = Rolex).

I think the same ethical considerations applying to pirated content apply here. It's like getting watches from the newsgroups. :2 cents:
